Every four years, hungry fans turn their
collective gaze to the soccer pitch
to root on team USA.

The only problem: Americans know
way more about our type of football
than the world’s type of football.

Jimmy John’s helps not-so-knowledgeable
World Cup viewers understand soccer
(aka Football) in whole new way.
By introducing the world first
Football Translator.

We’ve unveiled a limited edition smart
speaker that provides live commentary
during World Cup games. Using football
legend and sandwich lover Jimmy Johnson
to explain key events as they happen.

But in football terms.
Thats football.

Logo Inspiration

By looking back at old football/basketball league logos along with
some superbowl designs, we’ve realized that a lot of bold colors and chunky lines
were in line with what JJ’s look and feel has to offer. The only design question was
“how do we create that sense of subtle vintage sporty aesthetic with the JJ brand?”
